Les activités qui m'intéressent :

Travelling from July 23rd until August 25th in Norway, staying in Eidsvoll. In my free time I'd like to hike in nature and explore the area/local spots.

Description

Hi, I'm Tamisha! I'm a 21 year old student in the Netherlands. I have travelled/backpacked on my own more often but this is my first Workaway experience, and I'm looking forward to it! :-)

I’m a real outdoor person and love to do physical work. In my daily life I practice Krav Maga, grappling, boxing bag, cardio/power circuit and a bit of mountainbiking. I also study of course, but even then I have to go outside for a walk at least once every hour.
Besides that, I love nature and animals (especially dogs and birds), so pets and wildlife are great. And let’s not forget that I’m a real music lover, as a listener as well as a player and writer. I play guitar (electric and acoustic), drums and piano and I write songs, just for myself as a hobby.

When I go out, I like to be in the middle of nature and hike, but I also won’t say no to a museum, exploring local spots or playing some games. Regarding work, I prefer physical work outdoors, like gardening, animal care and outdoor projects. Of course I will also do chores and help with other tasks, but I prefer the main work te be something like I described above.

Also good to know: I love to meet new people and learn about new things or projects, but sometimes I get overwhelmed quite easily. I need my time alone to recover from all that, mostly by spending time in nature, exercising/doing physical work, making music or puzzling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a fit person and like to perform physical work, f.e. gardening or a building project. I am responsible and have no problem working alone if the tasks are clear. I would like to learn about new projects or tools!
Besides that, I'm creative and like to try new things.

I study Communication and Information Sciences so I can help with f.e. writing.

And I just like to help people in general, so motivation won't be a problem!

  I eat everything and despite that I'm small I usually eat a lot. I think food is important so I love nutritious meals, whole-wheat products and vegetables (definitely not a fan of fast food or take away). I love meat too, but I can adapt if necessary.
