Hi there! We’re Maeve and Sophie, two curious and motivated friends who love meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and giving back wherever we go. We both share a deep love for animals, the outdoors, and living in a way that’s respectful to the planet. Maeve is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Ireland and has spent much of her life traveling between the two, while Sophie has done her fair share of traveling with a strong passion for sustainability and simple, healthy living.

Between the two of us, we have years of experience working on horse farms, caring for animals of all kinds, babysitting, house sitting, and volunteering in animal shelters, with children, and with elderly. Maeve also has a background in journalism, business, and marketing, while Sophie has worked in agricultural research and is especially interested in food systems and ecological health. We’re both friendly, dependable, open-minded, and always ready to help whether it’s gardening, cleaning, animal care, or connecting with the local community.

We’re excited to share meaningful experiences, learn from others, and contribute positively as we travel the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Maeve also has over 10 years of experience working with horses and animals on farms and was a member of the Division 1 Equestrian Team at Texas A&M, where she studied Journalism, Business, and English. She's great with animals and not afraid of hard work, but she’s also got strong people skills thanks to her experience in retail, content writing, and marketing. Maeve has spent years dog walking and pet sitting, and she’s always been active in volunteering—especially in shelters, soup kitchens, nursing homes, and with children. She’s friendly and loves meeting new people and learning new things wherever she goes.

Sophie has spent over 10 years working on horse farms and feels right at home around animals and in outdoor, hands-on environments. She studied Environmental Studies, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, and Public Health at the University of Colorado Boulder, and she’s especially passionate about sustainability and caring for the planet. Sophie has also worked in agriculture at Cornell University and has plenty of experience house sitting, babysitting, and looking after pets. She’s volunteered at a variety of animal rescues and is known for being calm, reliable, and always willing to pitch in wherever help is needed.
