Hello!!! I'm Sofía from Mexico City, I'm a first timer here, an artist and someone who's very exciteeed for a new adventure.

Description

Hello!
My name is Sofía, I'm 23 and I just recently graduated from college, meaning, that after 3 and a half years of studying I am so ready to get away from my city and explore the world.

As an (recently graduated) actress, I fully believe that a very important part of my "job" is to get out of my shoebox and experience the world.

I first discovered Workaway trough a very special friend of mine who's been doing this since she was 18, and I promised myself that once I finished college I would follow her footsteps and finally do it myself. And so, the time has come.

To be completely honest the sole idea of traveling alone is scary but I know that fear is a symptom of something you should do and of something you truly desire.
I crave to make meaningful connections outside of the people I'm used to, so I can expand and discover another version of myself, and Workaway feels like the best place to start.
Something I can say about myself is that details make me crazy, I think a detail is what makes a day enjoyable. I love reading, nature, architecture, music and FOOOOOOOD.

I can say proudly that I'm a fast learner, you can count on me to keep up whit stuff even if I'm just learning how to.

I chose France as my first solo traveling spot for three main reasons:

1. I think France is a very kind place for solo travelers.
2. There's so much exciting options for Workawayers
3. France is calling my name since a very long time. I 'm dying to learn more about its culture, customs, architecture and art, and of course taste THE food.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Ok, for starters, I know all my basic home chores. I can sweep, clean, dust, water the plants and cook (the basics but I'm the best sous chef ever)

I know 80% English and my first language is Spanish. Not only that bu I'm a very good public speaker (courtesy of acting)

I'm known for my discipline and effectiveness, I'm not someone who procrastinates, but that doesn't mean that I can't have a good laugh, I'm easy to talk to, respect and acceptance for everyone is very important to me.

I'm also good with crafts. I've worked with clay, papel mache, watercolors, acrylic, etc, etc... (If you want to see my crafts work follow me at @batidosconsabor in instagram).
I'm a very creative person!!! If you need something that involves using imagination , something that you need to sort out or just create I'm someone you can ask.

I also have very good resistance, I have a LOT of energy, I spend my days moving, walking and exercising.

I'm an early riser. If you need someone thats active in the mornings I'm the girl for you.

I love dogs and cats, I have experience bathing dogs and taking them for long walks.

I'm very good with kids, kids for a strange reason feel drawn to me, and we usually have a fun time together, playing mermaids or something of that sort.

In school I produced 2 plays, I have also designed scenography , costumes and lights in different plays.

I'm very good with my body, I'm a dancer and a singer (Idk if it matters but I'm just gonna leave it here).

I know how to drive a car and bikes.

I have experience as a waiter, barista, graphic designer, and survey taker besides acting.

Besides all this I have all the disposition to learn, to make mistakes and learn from them. I'm so excited!
