Hello! My name is Stella Meillon, I am a native bilingual French/English speaker from Colorado. I just finished my undergraduate studies in mechanical and global engineering, and during my time in school I spent a lot of time pushing my understanding of different cultures.
I like to dance, cook, explore the outdoors, play guitar, and learn about new languages and cultures.
I find myself happiest when I'm in new situations and with wonderful people.
My goal with any workaway is to build strong relationships with local people and learn about different cultures and lifestyles.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My training is in engineering and I have done lots of work within the solar field in the last year. I am working for the Architectural Solar Association.
I have done various jobs, including teaching, project management, working at a boat marina reception in New York, some landscaping, cleaning, irrigation system management, and I wrote blogs for a year.
I love to learn new skills and I am a good learner, with a lot of different hobbies in my life teaching me how to pick up on things quickly and efficiently: I am a black belt in Wado Kai karate, I've played guitar for 12 years, I dance, climb, and hike.
I am strong and happy to do physical labor.
I work well with people and enjoy a good work community.

  In the US I can't eat gluten, but when I'm abroad it hasn't been an issue for me! I may also have to avoid potatoes, but it's not a big deal if I have them sometimes.
