Description
Did you know that some seals can sing like birds? They’re called Weddell seals and they only live in Antarctica. I spent a year there recording them and trying to decode their mysterious language! From above the surface, Antarctica looks like a cold, silent desert. But when you put a microphone under the ice, it’s like diving into a scene from Star Wars.
After the longest winter of my life, I said goodbye to the seals and am now traveling around Australia for the summer! If we get the chance to meet, I could let you listen to my recordings. I'm curious to know what you think of the laser gun-like sounds of my sonorous friends.
