Description

Hi I´m Simon from Schwerin, a small city in the north of Germany, about 100 kilometres away from Hamburg. I lived my whole life there and finished the highschool in June 2022. Now I want to experience something new, which is outside of the school system and my current everyday life.
I´m into football since the Kindergarden and sport is even today a part of my life. But my biggest passion is music. I love Jazz and Fusion, and I´m also playing the saxophon myself for years. I like to go to concerts and also to play with my friends.
I would describe myself as a calm and thoughtful person, but I´m not introverted -only sometimes I tend to overthink situations.
I use workaway, because I want to get to know new people and culture and to take part in interesting projects :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In the last years I took part in differnt actions and projects. I helped at a festival and painted a house with my friends for over a week, for example. I noticed two things in these projects:
I like phsical work and I´m able to learn and adapt things quick, even if I´m not experienced in this type of work. I think my strength is, irrespective of work, my ability to think logical.
I live in a patchwork family, so I learned how important communication is. So I think I can communicate well, because of my social background.
My family showed me also some basic skills like cooking, and sometimes I take care of my two younger sisters - so I´m a bit experienced with children.
I hope I can get much more real experience and learn new skills on the travel:)
