Hey there, I'm Sarah, I am 32 years old, and I am a chemical engineer. I appreciate language, culture, and being in the outdoors. My downtime involves working with ceramics, gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen. When I'm not at home I'm probably at the park throwing a frisbee, rock climbing, or riding my bike to a new pizza spot.
In a nutshell, I find fulfillment in learning, creative hobbies, and movement! Life, to me, is an ongoing exploration with more to discover. I first joined Workaway so I could connect with people while I traveled through South America in 2024. Now I am hooked!
I work well with many types of people, and I am a direct and open communicator. My personality type is INJF. I am very friendly, approachable, and curious. I can teach you Spanish and ceramics.

Hi! I'm David and I'm an industrial engineer. I like working with my hands to help with construction projects and woodworking. I grew up in small mountain town and love being in the outdoors and forming authentic relationships. Some of my hobbies include golfing, skiing, cycling to new breweries, pickleball, and trail running.

Teaching
I volunteered in Peru for 3 months in Huaycán and taught Art classes for ages 5-16. I held several mentorship positions in college (Freshman mentor, Women in Engineering Outreach). I am also an older sister of several siblings and helped my younger siblings with homework and reading. I work very well with kids.
Gardening
I have my own garden and volunteer in the community garden. I can help with planting, seed collection, weeding, and landscaping. I love honeybees and mason bees.
Ceramics
I can teach you hand-building techniques to make pots/planters. I can show you how to throw on the wheel to make mugs, bowls, planters etc
Art
I love painting and would be happy to help with wall painting, touch ups, painting a mural etc. My preferred medium at home is watercolor and gouache. I am a huge fan of Studio Ghibli and Kazuo Oga
