Hi! I'm new to workaway and live currently in Brooklyn, NY. I am looking to expand my experiences outside of the busy corporate city life, I feel a real desire to be closer to nature and more in touch with other ways of living. I garden on my balcony and in community plots in NYC. I am quite crafty and love to expand my knowledge about new mediums and crafts. I would love to learn more about non urban gardening/farming. What I lack in experience I make up for in enthusiasm and work ethic!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been teaching myself what I can about gardening and growing food in NYC over the past two years. This involves quite a bit of container gardening as well as community plot gardening and maintenance.
I am crafty. I constantly have several small craft projects going and am looking to learn more about different mediums. I currently am dabbling in paper mache, light beading and teaching myself to sew.
I am naturally curious and enthusiastic. I have a very strong work ethic. I work in corporate advertising making commercials working crazy hours and plan to use workaway as a way to reinvigorate myself with new interests and lifestyles in my rare time off.
I have experience babysitting and being a camp counselor many years ago.
I am good with animals. Very open to learning more about animal care.

Oh boy I have lots and shared many already. Most hobbies interest me. I love to cook and eat. I will participate in any craft. I like to read, to yap and share stories. I love the outdoors.
