Hello!

I'm Sarah, I'm 27 and I'm from Scotland. I lived in London for the last 6 years but have left to take time off to travel and experience a different way of life. I've worked in the food industry, importing fruit and vegetables to sell in the UK market but I would love to get closer to the growing of these and learn how to do this more sustainably and on a smaller scale.

I've spent some time working on farms, so I have experience with germinating seeds, planting fruits / vegetables and trees. I'm generally happy to get my hands dirty and pick up new skills and I'm very open minded to trying something new!

I'm also looking to improve my Spanish and/or pick up a new language :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Past workaways have included:

1 month on a Finca in Tenerife - weeding and picking fruits to sell at a local market

1 month in a kitchen in Israel - collecting fresh fruit / veg from the market and helping prep in the kitchen

2 weeks at a yoga retreat in Gozo - preparing rooms for guests and cooking breakfast and lunch.

I'm really interested in learning more about growing / farming in general and I'm always happy to learn new skills and get my hands dirty. I'm also physically very fit so can take on manual jobs easily!

I'm a very active person, I love to run, cycle, swim, walk etc and always looking to try new things - I picked up surfing this year and loved it!

Generally love to be in nature so the more time spent outside the better :)
