  Description

  As long as I remember myself I used to live like being in a fairy tale with mythic creatures and animals in a lush land where people were always happy and smiling 🧚‍♀️... Growing up I found that my life purpose is to help people to reach happiness through awareness. After several attempts at work, I have come to the conclusion that what I have been asking for and which suits me, is the holistic energy therapy and Yoga teaching in which I have been working on for 15 years.
  
  I hope to transform this property into a cozy and intimate place for everyone who would like to join us, my dog Arsinoe and my cat Kalih, so we can practice our beliefs, away from the busy and distracting life of a big city.
  
  My life companion and my two kids share my vision, but due to their occupations come occasionally and for a short period of time. Therefore I need some help and I would love to share my dream project with anyone who would like to be there.

  Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

  You will have the chance to spend some time in a silent place, connect with nature, meditate, spent time with yourself and meet other travelers or people that share the same values. At the same time exploring the wonderful Island of Andros.
  Also you can join me in my yoga practice or hiking walks around the island. Also meditations, silent walks in nature, pranayama, mudra and mantras will be held, and you can join any of these. And because I am an Holistic Healer, I can give you Reiki session, and/or other energy healing sessions, and of course make a lot of spiritual conversations! :-)
  As a person I like very much to travel around the world, meet new people, get into the local customs and philosophy and of course taste the local foods!!!
  So I believe that taste the local foods is very essential for someone who travels, to get into the vibe of the place... And therefore I offer my Greek cuisine recipes to whoever will come, along with long conversations accompanied by my dog Arsinoe and my cat Kalih.

  Aide

  I recently secured some plot of land on the waterly Island of Andros. I am an Holistic-Energy Healer and Yoga Teacher and plan to turn this place in a silent meditation space! 🙏🙏🙏
  
  The help I would like from volunteers are:
  * Planting trees, vegetables and flowers
  * Gardening
  * Some help in eco-building of benches, toilettes, stove, etc
  * Sometimes I might be need to transfer material around (like wood, little stones, kitchen stuff etc)
  * Cooking (I usually do the cooking but sometimes it might be needed to be done by volunteer)
  * Shopping
  * Landscape the place
  *Cleaning up the wild vegetation
  *Constructing some simple wooden projects
  
  My plan for this summer is to set up the place for the tents, finish the construction of the meditation places, plant and take care of the trees and more.

  Hébergement

  We provide tents with mattress, pillow and bedding.
  
  Please notice that the place for the time being is totally primitive, meaning that there is only a small warehouse and a room to sleep in case of rain.
  
  There is electricity, an outdoor primitive open shower and toilet, an open kitchen area with a stove and refrigerator, but no drinking water.
  Drinking water we carry in bottles from the village.
  In case of emergency (severe rain etc) it is possible to be hosted in Batsi Village in a friend's house.

  Autres infos...

  We are located 30' by foot from Andros hotspot village, called Batsi. So you will always be in contact with civilization (please keep in mind that the plot is at 200m altitude, so it is steep high/down road to go to).
  You can go shopping, swimming (to many beaches nearby), or hiking to over 160km of signposted paths (Andros is the first island to be recognised by the European Ramblers Association and the Andros Route, 100km, was certified as one of the Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe), snorkelling, scuba diving, etc, when you are not enjoying the majestic sea view or the dramatic sunrises and sunsets from the huge Oak Tree that sits on the top of the property.
  
  From Batsi you can take the bus to visit the Island or to go to the over of 140 beaches of all kind... Chora, the picturesque capital of Andros is 45', Gavrio port only 15' (by car of bus).
  Andros is well known for it's diverse nature, many villages and drinkable water running everywhere... Further more it is an undiscovered island, so no matter where you go you will be far away from the tourist crowd....
  If you get tired of nature isolation or... jump on the boat and find yourself to next islands (Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos....)
  
  If you like to be in nature, if you like the eco-way of life, if you want to be in a quite place to meditate, get into yourself, go in silence, then, this is the place to be! I would be very happy to join me.
