Description

Hello everyone!
My name is Signe, and I’m a 21-year old girl from a town called Horsens in Denmark. In short terms, I will describe myself as a caring, down-to-earth and open-minded person, hungry for new adventures, challenges and experiences.

I absolutely love to travel to new destinations, meeting different people from around the world, and to discover new cultures and ways of living. I see Workaway as a great opportunity to do exactly so!

I love spending time with nice people, gathering around some great food, music, board games and long conversations. I love reading, cooking - especially new dishes - and I always enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine.
I value music and singing very much, and that is something I would like to practice even more. Otherwise, I enjoy running and cycling and being out in nature all year around.

I am currently in my second gap year after graduating high school. I just returned from an amazing 3-months backpacker-trip in eastern Australia, and have been enjoying life and summer here in Denmark with my friends and family since.
Now I’m eager to spend my fall out in the unknown again, before starting university next year. I can’t wait to meet you!

I am an easy-going and smiling person, at ease being around and talking with different people.
I have a lot of experience with customer-service and management, having worked in a restaurant for 3 years. Currently I'm working as an office assistant at a land-surveyor company, where I'm used to working both independently and as a part of a team.

I'm very motivated to learn new things and grow as a person, and I'm easily adaptable to new environments. I am a quick learner, a hard-working and responsible person, used to being organized. I am in good physical shape, so I would have no problem doing physically demanding tasks.
