Hello!

I'm Renê, a 39-year-old man with a young curious spirit. I’m half Brazilian (born and raised in Brazil) and half Italian, with roots on my father’s side from Italy. I've spent most of my life in Brazil, and have also lived in Italy and Australia for some time.

Travelling and exploring the world is my passion number one! So far, I’ve explored 53 countries and still would like to visit a lot more. In my trips, I like to explore everything a place has to offer: nature, people, culture, history and food. I find equal fascination in the countryside and urban landscapes, enjoying both nature and the culture of towns and cities.

I’m equally inclined towards science and spirituality. To me, they represent different forms of wisdom, each offering insights into different aspects of life, ultimately complementing each other and offering a broad perspective on life.

Meeting new people and challenging myself are essential to me. I believe life is about growth, learning, and facing challenges to reach our highest potential and become our best selves.

Languages are also a big part of my journey. I’m a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and Italian, and semi-fluent in Spanish. Currently, I’m at an intermediate level in German, and I’m especially interested in spending time in German-speaking countries like Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. So, to German speakers—please don’t switch to English if I’m struggling! I actually want to struggle a bit to learn, haha!

Work has always been central to my life—not only for survival but also for the connections and personal growth it fosters. I have a degree in Environmental Engineering and several years of experience in this field, but I’m equally passionate about hands-on, manual work. I’m especially interested in roles involving farming or agriculture, where I can work with animals or plants, as well as opportunities in hospitality. I enjoy the dynamic environment of hotels, bars, and restaurants and find fulfillment in helping to create welcoming experiences for others.

I’m excited to bring dedication, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn to each new opportunity. Looking forward to connecting!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

* I learn quickly and easily how to perform new activities and execute tasks;
* I am good with self-learning, and also to sharing knowledge with others;
* I am very attentive to details and have good abilities for focusing;
* I am mentally flexible and focused;
* I am very proactive, I like to identify what needs to be done instead of waiting for instructions. At the same, I always ask when I have doubts or actually need help.

- Administrative skills: managing activities, logistics, planning;

- Operational skills: good handling of tools and machines in general; I can do hoeing, digging, planting, harvesting, lumberjacking; I can work with electricity and wires, pipes and hydraulics; I also have great skills with computers and technology in general.

- I've never worked in restaurants and bars, but I'm sure I would do really well in it. I know what makes a good waiter/bartender and would love the chance to work as one.

- Great driving; I can carry medium to heavy weights; Good health and easiness to walk and climb; Fluent in Portuguese and English, advanced in spanish and italian, basic in german (getting close to intermediate soon).
