Kia ora, hello!

I’m a 29-year-old from New Zealand, setting off on a 10-month adventure around Europe to volunteer, learn, and connect with amazing people. My day job back home is as a Learning & Development consultant, but now I’m swapping the office for gardens, DIY, and hostels!

I want to get my hands dirty and pick up practical skills along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve dabbled in a bunch of hands-on stuff back home. I’ve done small DIY projects, some landscaping, and even built a raised-bed veggie garden. I've also owned my own home with chickens, so I know the basics of looking after animals and keeping things ticking along.

Most of the time I’ve learned by jumping in with friends or family, so I’m good at taking direction and figuring things out as I go. I’ve got common sense, I don't shy away from hard work, and I’ll always give things a go.

I’ve got a real can-do attitude — I like learning new skills, getting stuck in, and walking away knowing how to do something I couldn’t before.

I’m happiest when I’m outdoors — hiking up a trail, snowboarding down a mountain, or jumping into a lake, river, or the ocean for a swim. Nature is my reset button and I love being active in it.

I’m definitely an extrovert and a people person, I get a lot of energy from being around others, sharing stories, and having good conversations. Travel is a huge passion of mine, and meeting new people along the way is one of the best parts of it.

That said, I do enjoy some downtime too. Give me a good book or a film and I’m more than content to chill out for a while.
