Description
Hi there ☀️
I've traveled and volunteered in various countries over the last years after graduating from high school in 2019 and felt myself truly coming to life.
I've spent 2 years in total volunteering/working in a nonprofit monkey sanctuary in South Africa where I lived a pretty simple bush-life and grew familiar with off-grid, communal living and composting toilets. 😋
Afterwards, I traveled a bit through South East Asia while freelancing, living the digital nomad dream ... and realising it wasn't my dream. I yearned for a home, and now I am back in Germany, studying a NPO & NGO Management Bachelor's degree, figuring out where it will take me.
I would love to spend my semester holidays somewhere unfamiliar, with new experiences and connections waiting for me - ideally somewhere warmer. And so I stumbled upon Workaway and thought it could be fun to try out. 😊
I'd describe myself as gentle and calm, with an open heart and loving to meet people, despite ultimately being an introvert and also needing regular breaks to charge my social batteries.
I care deeply about this planet and its inhabitants, which includes farm animals as much as wildlife ... as well as people! So while I'm not perfect, I try to be environmentally and socially conscious.
I miss being around animals very much - not being able to adopt a dog is the biggest downfall of studying to me right now honestly - so I'd love to go somewhere where I can help with animals.
I've been vegan for just over 10 years, so a vegan/veggie bubble is preferred. 😇 (If you aren't, but are open to trying new recipes, I'd be more than happy to cook for you! 🥰️ I avoid arguments, but I'm just not comfortable being around meat a lot)
Also, I still freelance, so I am looking for hosts with a reliable WiFi connection. (I mostly do English - German translation work)
I love to laugh and play games, I love anime and manga, I enjoy listening to audiobooks or reading, and lately I've really enjoyed learning about and caring for house plants, so I'm quite interested in gardening!
I don't drink alcohol and don't smoke cigarettes, but I'm usually open if someone offers a joint haha.
Looking forward to chat! 😊Centres d’intérêt

I love learning languages even if it's soooo hard lol! I can definitely help with German and English. I'm studying Japanese on Duolingo lol. I love listening to Spanish music, so learning some Spanish would be cool too actually.Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

Through a bit of an chaotic life journey so far, I'm sure I picked up skills, and yet answering this questions seems like the hardest thing in the world to me right now. 😂
I tend to pick up things pretty quickly and am happy to help with anything I can manage - I love to feel useful!Âge
