Hello everyone! Here's a brief description of me:

My name is Paul, I'm 23 years old and live in Europe—to be precise, in Austria on the border with Slovenia and Italy. I'm currently in the middle of my training to become an English and geography teacher—a dream job for me because I enjoy working with young people.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors—especially in the mountains, hiking and climbing. I enjoy traveling and have already visited many countries in Europe and have been to Asia and Africa. The most important thing for me when traveling is interacting with locals to learn as much as possible about other cultures.

One of my great passions is motorcycling—it helps me unwind from everyday life. I'm also musical and play the guitar.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Now, a description of my skills:

Generally, I'm a very social person. I love spending time with my friends and talking about all sorts of things. Making new acquaintances and approaching strangers isn't difficult for me either. Especially as a future teacher, these are important skills for empathizing with students and seeing things from their perspective.

After completing five years of technical school in 2021, I spent two years working as an electrician on construction sites in Austria and Europe – my passion is all kinds of manual work. I've always found working with metal particularly exciting, but I've also been gardening on my parents' property and in the forest since I was a child.

My native language is German, but I've also been learning English for almost 13 years, which I've also been studying at university for two years to become a teacher. My second major is geography, which I'm also very interested in (due to my passion for nature and travel).

As a prospective teacher, I believe that true learning doesn't just happen in the classroom—but above all through personal encounters, new perspectives, and cultural exchange.

That's why I want to go abroad: I want to improve my English, experience new ways of life, and better understand how people live, learn, teach, and work in other parts of the world.

In my free time—when I have any left—I have a somewhat strange hobby: I like to repair and tinker with my old car. As a child, I always wanted to be a mechanic.

I've had various pets and farm animals. Among them was a dog that lived to be 17, a cat that lived to be 21, and 8 chickens—which gave me lots of eggs for breakfast :-D.

Musically, I'm interested in rock, blues, country, and traditional Austrian music.
