Hi! I’m Orlando, a friendly, creative and food-loving Aussie from Sydney. I finished university last year and decided to come to France on a Working Holiday Visa to try something new, experience living in another country and see where the adventure takes me. I’m keen to step outside my comfort zone and make the most of the opportunity to experience life in France.

I love discovering new places and getting stuck into hands-on projects. I have experience in hospitality, cooking, baking, content creation and social media, and I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever needed. I’m easy-going, curious and always open to trying new things, learning new skills and giving things my best shot.

I learnt French at school from the age of 3 to 17. I’m now 22, so it’s been about five years since I last studied it, but my French has quickly come back to me after previously being fluent.

I have experience in cooking, baking, hospitality, content creation and social media. I’ve run my own cake business for 9 years, so I’m organised, independent and used to getting things done. I’m a very precise person and a bit of a perfectionist, so I take pride in doing things properly and paying attention to the little details. I’m also happy with hands-on work, helping around the house or garden, and learning new skills wherever needed. I’m a quick learner, reliable and always happy to lend a hand.
