  Description

  We live in South west of Ireland on the coast a few miles from the Mizen Head. A number of beautiful beaches are close by. We have 4 children, all are away at college/working. Our nearest villages Crookhaven and Goleen are six miles away. We grow vegetables, fruit and have a large ornamental seaside garden. We live in a renovated traditional farmhouse. we can provide own room and shared bathroom and are a very LGBTQ+ friendly household. We enjoy meeting new people and are happy to show you our area. Food is supplied. Kate is a keen and experienced cook/baker, supplying the home with fresh bread and cakes. We generally all eat the evening meal together a time to chat and exchange stories and experiences. You can also cook meals, we will supply ingredients etc.
  We are looking for help in the garden, . We would be happy with 4 hours help 5 days a week. It would be preferable if you had an interest in gardening, nature and the outdoors. We would love help keeping our garden maintained. If the weather is bad we can find indoor jobs that need doing. Kate is a potter and Owen is a textile artist. Winter is a busy time in the pottery making for the Christmas markets and Kate also bakes in a local cafe. There is a rural bus running locally. We also have bicycles that you are welcome to use. Owen has limited mobility due to a spinal condition so physical work is difficult for him at the moment.
  Our garden is tuced up from the Winter now,. We we will have availability again in mid to late March.

  Outdoor tasks and gardening
  
  We are looking for help maintaining the garden and general outdoor help, painting, mowing grass. We would be happy with 4 good hours help 5 days a week. It's preferable you had a keen interest in nature and the outdoors.

  Full bed and board, own bedroom and shared bathroom. Please let us know of any diet requirements. Breakfast is help yourself, lunch with Owen or if he is out/unavailable help yourself. Dinner is provided and shared with the family.
