Another couple traveling!
Hi guys, we are Melina and Anton from Germany. After finishing our Bachelors degrees in Germany we decided to take some time off tracks and travel the world. With no return flight or appointments, we are looking forward to living relaxed into the day and just doing what we feel like doing. We want to try out new things, get a taste of professions we have no idea about and get out of our comfort zone from time to time. Getting to know other people's lifestyles and plans will hopefully help us to find our own path, which we don't yet know exactly where it should go. We also want to wander off the beaten tourist track and get in touch with locals. We believe that this is the only way to really get to know a country and to develop and educate ourselves through the impressions we gain. Anton has already worked on farms in New Zealand through workaway and assisted a carpenter at work. Melina has already held courses on epoxy resin art at the adult education center in Germany. Apart from that, we both like to be creative and philosophize about all kinds of topics that cross our path.

We're able to teach German or English lessons and are generally interested in learning basic communication skills in the local languages of the country we are currently staying in. Additionally we are looking forward to improving our Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As already mentioned, we both love to be creative and live this out in all possible ways. Melina studied graphic design and can help with pretty much any work in this field: e.g. websites, logos, brand design, video editing etc. or print design such as flyers, business cards, posters, banners,... We both also like to paint, for example with graffiti or acrylic, on walls or canvas and could paint your facades or entrance signs. Anton studied industrial engineering in Rostock, specializing in mechanical engineering and marine technology and can also help with many practical tasks, such as carpentry, renovation or painting. For organizational tasks, he was able to gain experience while working in a start-up and generally has a good technical understanding and is adaptive in this area. We are both very communicative, love working with people and have both done so (given creative courses, babysat, worked at vacation camps or given swimming lessons). Anton is also a qualified barista and can make a very tasty cappuccino ;)

Melina loves to play all kinds of games: Board games, card games, group games, anything. She can teach you some of her favourite games and would love to learn more about local games.
Anton started to teach himself tattooing and would like to learn more in this area.
