Hi,

Nice to meet you! I’m a 30-year old Dutchie, living in The Hague, who's in for a big adventure.

I've always had the dream to travel for a longer period of time by myself but you know, life happened so I had to wait before I could do this. But this year it's the time to cancel my lease, say goodbye to The Hague and go!

Last March is spent 1 month in Portugal doing Workaway and I totally loved it. Actually, this was my trial month. And this led me to the decision that I'm going to Workaway for an undertimined time from the end of August/ beginning of September 2024 on!
Just me and my backpack, a dosis of travel urge and adventure!
Going without a detailed plan but just go with the flow, experience the unknown and see how everything will unfold.

A little bit more info about me; I love meeting new people, nature, travelling (of course 😊 ), watching the sunset, walking barefoot at the beach, doing yoga, good meaningful conversations (don't like small talk :) ), animals (real dog lover), music (played clarinet for 10 years) listening to my Spotify playlist, laughing, humour, exploring new cities, sitting around a campfire with a bunch of other nice people and sleeping in 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love to be around animals and to take care of them, same for young children. I've been a babysitter for over 15 years and since 3 years I'm a pet sitter (on cats & dogs) occasionally. Next to that, I grew up with a sweet labrador so I really know how to take care of dogs and I like to do that.
So I do have good babysit skills ;)
Besides that, I also would like to learn how to take care of other animals like pigs, chickens, donkeys etc. Since I'm a sensitive person, I feel easily the needs of animals.

During my first Workaway last month I also discovered that I like to do some farm work like pruning olive trees, planting potatoes into the ground, helping in the vegetable garden.
I also have dailiy tasks skills like cooking, helping with the househould, etc lol.

Futhermore, I’ve a Bachelor in International Hospitality Management so I do know some stuff about that and so I do have good organization skills. Oh and before you start thinking now that I’m a very very good cook because of my degree, no I’m not lol. I'm just a regular house cook :) but I do like to make & learn new homemade recipes.

oh and I've played clarinet for more than 10 years so I can also teach you some clarinet skills lol
