Hi, my name is Nathalie!

I like exploring new places and learning new things, languages being one of my greatest passion, I’ve taken up the challenge to learn French for now. I am from the countryside of Finland, and the countryside and nature have always drawn me. I enjoy hiking and exploring, but also have a big passion for cooking and food in general. For me language is a gateway to new cultures which is why I find learning languages so interesting as it allows you to enter the world of other cultures on a different level. When I’m not in nature or making food, I enjoy painting or creating art.

I have dreamt of learning French for a long time and 2 years ago I took private classes and planned to come to France to put it into practice via Workaway. It didn’t happen then but I hope I can make it happen now! If there is interest, I can also help with any of the languages I currently speak.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have just completed my bachelor in marketing, but the work I would be interested in would be more physical work.
Growing up on the country side in a family house, I’ve spent a lot of my young days in the garden with my parents. We also have an apple juice factory where I work 3 months every autumn. A few years ago my parents decided to build a new house, and I was there for every step of the way so I feel comfortable also working in building/restoration. In the past I have also worked in customer service for travel agencies and at restaurants.
