I am a mature Australian, born in Russia, grew up in Kazakhstan, and have lived, worked, and traveled all over the world for the last 30 years. I used to work as a science officer, but now call myself a freelance artist.

The volunteering work that I have done both through workaway and other means ranges from painting murals, cooking on retreats and teaching English to guiding tours and caring for rescued cats and dogs.

I love nature, animals, creating art, photography, meditation, spirituality, cooking, continuous learning, and engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. As a practicing artist, I specialize in ceramic sculpture and oil/acrylic painting, as well as digital arts. I am also good with computers (user level), video editing, and doing all sorts of things with AI and social media.

I'm seeking meaningful connections with interesting places, experiences, and people, along with opportunities to contribute my skills and energy. My preferred places are communities, eco-retreats, NGOs, art and spiritual centers. I am a good cook (don't have formal licenses) and can cook for large groups—vegetarian or not.

I have good interpersonal skills, can work with customers and teach English to adults. Though not a native English speaker, having lived in Australia for 26 years gave me fluency and confidence in the language.

What draws me to volunteering is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in new environments, challenge myself in unfamiliar territories, and broaden my perspectives. I consider myself a mature and responsible individual who simultaneously maintains an easygoing attitude and remains open to new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I enjoy cooking, can cook vegetarian if needed. Generally good with computers (Wordpress, Photoshop, video editing, blogging, YouTube). Can edits videos for Youtube and TikTok. Housekeeping, meeting and greeting guests. Love animals and have a particular affinity with dogs. Can paint murals, teach art classes, make all sort of nice neat things, sculpture, help with decorations and graphic design.
