My name is Nelleke, I am 24 years old and I'm a young musician, organizer and performer from the Netherlands. I am originally from Twente, a rural area in the east of my country, but have been living in Utrecht for about six years. My small town upbringing and living in a bigger city makes me enjoy contrasts such as urban versus nature surroundings. I love social company as much as spending time alone. What makes me happy in life is to make and enjoy music, dancing, sharing stories with friends and strangers, reading and roadtrips. I'm new to Workaway and I'd love to hop off the career bus for a bit and gain some beautiful experiences outside my day by day life!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just graduated from music management on the School of Arts have a lot of experience in creative events and hospitality. This makes me an assertive, flexible person that's good in anticipating people's needs. I love to set up or participate in creative projects: I play percussion, synthesizers and sing in two bands, and have a great passion for dancing. I have experience in teaching kids (volleybal, English language) and found myself in the role of a dance fitness instructor for a year. I have also done a lot of nannying in the past and have done volunteering in an asylum. I am very curious and open by nature. Although I don't have a extensive range of technical skills, I have a crafty/DIY mindset: I have basic sewing and gardening skills, love cooking and I cut my own and (when they let me) other friends their hair!
