Description
We live in the Aude department in the South of France. We have been here for 12 years and we love it, but it is a large house and has a lot of grounds so we could do with some help - general repairs and lots to do in the garden!
My partner Alan and I are from Scotland. We love it here it is very picturesque, with the lovely rolling hills and the green countryside. We have four dogs, a cat, a parrot and some chickens so you've got to love animals to come here.

The accommodation that we offer is one of our guest bedrooms which has its own bathroom. We live in the country, so a car is important but not essential.
This part of france is very interesting from an historical point and also for its natural beauty.
We are only one hour from the pyrenees and one hour from the coast, Carcassonne is 40 mins away.
Please no smokers!

I just spent 10 wonderful days with this lovely couple helping in the gardens at their guesthouse/B&B. Katriona and Alan made me feel very welcome and part of the household; as well as did the dogs, kitty, and "Mac" the parrot. The room was way above what was expected with such a stunning view. We stayed with Alan and Catriona for just over two weeks and they were wonderful hosts. We were made to feel so welcome and we can't thank them enough for having us. Catriona is a fantastic cook and mealtimes were always a delight.

Evelyn stayed with us for just over a week and was a great help around the garden, she helped to get our house ready for the season. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She has a great sense of humour and can join in with all converstion!!
