Hi there, I'm Mara, and through Workaway I've been able to find some really interesting and precious people and places. I like to seek out unique experiences, usually with animal care involved. I like to explore lots of different hobbies and skills, but mostly I like to pull together tasty and interesting meals and make art projects (murals, sewing, sign painting, etc.). I sincerely love animals of all sorts. I have the most experience with goats (including many kidding seasons), and I've also helped take care of pigs, alpacas, chickens, and donkeys. I'm looking for stays where I can both improve my skills and learn some new tricks too. I hope to have my own goats one day and I'm working towards a deeper knowledge of both goats and of DIY home-building/making practices in general.
