Hey, we are Monique and Sierra! We are both adventurous and outgoing people who love nature and the outdoors.

Monique: I am a 23 year old from Queensland, Australia. Hiking, snowboarding and art are some of my hobbies, and I am really passionate about wildlife and the environment. I worked at a dog shelter in Europe for five years, and have worked as a waitress, host, bartender and housekeeper.

Sierra: I am a 25 year old from Chelsea, Quebec and I am bilingual. I love everything outdoors, such as hiking, canoeing, xc skiing, fishing, etc. I recently graduated from Concordia, with a bachelors in environmental geography and I am passionate about our relationship to the environment as humans. I have extensive experience working in hospitality (front of house and housekeeping) and childcare (nanny and ECE).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Monique:I would call myself a hard working all-rounder; I have worked hospitality, retail, at a dog shelter, as a nanny/babysitter and most recently as a housekeeper. A friendly demeanour, great customer service and the ability to work well with a team and under pressure are essential skills I possess.

I have five years work experience volunteering weekly at a dog shelter in the Netherlands, in all kinds of weather conditions from rain to sun to snow. I love all kinds of animals, and have a little experience with horses and livestock. In highschool I babysat and worked as a nanny - I am great with kids and learnt a lot about responsibility and trust.

I would say my best traits as a worker are my passion for trying new things and learning new skills!

Sierra: I have the most experience in hospitality and childcare, but I consider myself to be a flexible person who loves to learn new skills.

My hospitality experience includes front of house/housekeeping in luxury lodges and family owned lodges in BC and Ontario, customer service at a ski resort in Quebec, server/bartender in busy restaurants in Montreal and Ottawa.

My childcare experience includes working in a daycare as an ECE (ages 10mo to 5yrs) and nannying for a family in Montreal with a 4 year old.
