I find great success and satisfaction in connecting with all kinds of people. As a life long learner, I am an avid reader of any genre (especially history) and enjoy exploring different ideas and philosophies. Listening to other's life stories and experiences assists a connection that can last a lifetime and become life changing.
I work hard at any task assigned to me. For the past 5 summers, I have been employed by local farmers, working in their fields with other farm workers. I found a great sense of gratification connecting with the other workers as we worked hard during the day and developed our own unique community in the evenings as we camped out. I am looking forward to expanding that experience with Workaway working and connecting with differrent people and cultures.
I am an easy going, roll-with-it kind of person who thrives on human connections. I feel a call to Slovakia at a deep gut level knowing that my father was born there. I am excited for the opportunity to connect with my family's culture in an immersive and intimate way.
We are all in this world together. Helping each other out, traveling, working, and embracing our differences only shows how similar we really are. Being a part of Workaway will allow me to help others while I continue to learn and grow as a person.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have several years experience doing fieldwork on comercial farms. I also have some landscaping experience. Allthough most of my experience has been in various kitchens doing everthing from fine dining to catering and cafeterias.
