Description
Hello! I'm a certified school teacher and work online with a wonderful, alternative school, supporting homeschooling families. In addition, I have lived on a cooperative permaculture farm for the past four years. I love the Arts, teaching as well as engaging in all creative activities, including pottery, painting, dancing, crafts and lately have been teaching myself to play the ukulele. I've decided I would like to to try working as a digital nomad for 6 months and visit the UK and Europe. I've listed a number of countries that I'd love to visit, but am really excited to go with the flow and see where life takes me.
I'm also passionate about the environment. My first degree was in marine biology and I love to teach others about this beautiful world we live in. I am so encouraged by all the people I see who are choosing alternative ways of living and being in order to really make a difference in the world. I'm excited to travel the world and get to experience first-hand all the amazing things that are unfolding, and meet the brave and creative people who are making it happen.
In addition to teaching full and part time for the past 25 years, I've raised two amazing, boys. Being their mother has been the most rewarding experience of my life. And I love that I've been able to share my love of travel with them, including camping in Hawaii for 6 weeks, and taking 5 weeks to drive across North America and back.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm a certified school teacher and taught in the B.C. Canada public school system for 16 years. I have taught students of all ages (from K-grade 12), in a wide variety of subjects including science, math, art, english and french. More recently I have been teaching at an alternative, school that uses bioregional education to encourage students to be strong, confident, self-directed learners with an interest in sustainable communities.
I've always loved to work with children, and even created my own art and drama/movement workshops for kids
