Description
Hello. I'm a certified school teacher currently working online with an independent school, supporting homeschooling families. In addition, I have lived on a cooperative permaculture farm for the past four years. I love outdoor activities including hiking, biking, kayaking, backpacking, and exploring nature. I really enjoy engaging in creative activities, including pottery, painting, dancing, crafts and lately have been teaching myself to play the ukulele. I've decided I would like to spend the next 6 months visiting the UK and Europe. I've listed a number of countries that I'm hoping to visit, but am really excited to go with the flow and see where life takes me.
I'm also passionate about the environment. My first degree was in marine biology and I love to teach others about this beautiful world we live in. I am encouraged by all the people I see who are choosing alternative ways of living and interacting with the world and each other in order to help make a difference in the world. I'm excited to travel and experience first-hand all the amazing things that are unfolding, and meet the brave and creative people who are making them happen.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm a certified school teacher and taught in the B.C. Canada public school system for 16 years. I have taught students of all ages (from K-grade 12), in a wide variety of subjects including science, math, art, english and french. More recently I have been teaching at an alternative, school that uses bioregional education to encourage students to be strong, confident, self-directed learners with an interest in sustainable communities.
I've always loved to work with children, and even created my own art and drama/movement workshops for kids
