Hiya! I'm Mikey, a recent graduate in environmental science from the US, and I'm taking the summer to travel the European continent with my girlfriend before starting work in the fall. First and foremost, I love traveling and exploring new and diverse places, but most importantly, exchanging cultures and learning new languages. I believe that one has to step out of their comfort zone to truly find the adventure in life, and I try to do something that pushes me every day because of it. I am an enjoyer of everything outdoors, as I've been camping since I was as young as five in scouting, and this exposure is what ultimately led me to pursue a career in protecting the environment! I am an avid music lover and a classically trained pianist, and I love to ski in the winter and go to the beaches in the summer. I am looking to explore places I wouldn't have otherwise been able to financially, and to continue to indulge in new culinary delights, cultural phenomena, and ultimately see more of this world and the beautiful people and places it holds.

Previous experience with beginner handyman work, some gardening experience, and intermediate restaurant and classroom setting culinary expertise. Previous experience in outdoor education, wilderness survival, and wilderness first aid from over a decade of scouting experience.
