Hi! I’m Micaela, an Argentine-Ukrainian language teacher, curious traveler, and lover of adventurous, simple living. 🌊
What makes me happiest is connecting with people from different cultures, learning about how they live, and sharing meaningful moments — whether that’s cooking together, working in a garden, or simply talking over tea.
I'm a Spanish teacher with a fully remote job, which means I can travel slowly and flexibly. I combine teaching with discovering new ways of living through Workaway, Couchsurfing, and camping. I’m especially inspired by projects focused on sustainability, creativity, cultural exchange, or community living. I would love to learn new skills in any area.
The last trip I took was a bike trip with two friends from Málaga (Spain) to Genoa (Italy). I discovered the joy of living with the minimum and enjoying every sunset. I decided I want to live a life connected with nature and people. I want to live every year of my life with as many experiences as I can.
I'm adventurous but grounded, and I find joy in both deep conversations and silent walks through nature. I love wild forests, fresh food, local music, sleeping under the stars, and learning something new every day. I LOVE the sea, the beach, and summer — I even have a tattoo of the sea. I love the stars; staring at them at night, far away from the city (especially from light pollution), gives me life. 🌌
I am vegetarian, but I try to eat mostly vegan. I don’t love cooking, but I can do it — especially when I have company.
It’s also important for me that people respect my personal space, and I deeply respect the personal space of others.
I see this journey I am planning not as a holiday, but as a way to grow — by helping, sharing, and living simply and intentionally with others. 🪷

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a professional Spanish teacher, a language lover, and an all-around adaptable person with lots of curiosity and energy to help where needed. ✨
🧠 My main skills:
Teaching: I’ve been giving online Spanish lessons for over 2 years to people of all ages especially Ukrainian and English speakers. I'm also starting to teach Ukrainian to foreigners.
Languages: I speak Spanish (native), Ukrainian (native), English (C1), Russian (B2), and some Turkish and Italian.
Communication & patience: Working with people from different backgrounds taught me how to explain things clearly, listen actively, and stay calm and friendly in any situation.
🎨 Other skills:
Creative tasks: I enjoy creating content, using Canva, Figma, and social media (Instagram, TikTok).
Cooking & cleaning: I’m organized and independent, used to cooking vegetarian meals and keeping shared spaces tidy.
Gardening & DIY: I’ve helped in small home and garden projects and love learning new practical things with my hands.
Animals: I love dogs, cats and all animals — and I’m comfortable feeding, walking or caring for them.

I’m a quick learner, a responsible guest, and I love working on meaningful things — from physical help to cultural exchange or creative collaboration. If I don’t know something yet, I’m excited to learn it.

I’m a mix of calm and curious - I love deep talks, nature walks, journaling, biking, stargazing, and watching sunsets. I also enjoy reading, and learning bits of new languages just for fun. I really love music, I think I cant live without it.

I would love to combine my 2 passions: working and travelling, so I find Workaway very useful.

I’m very open to trying new things from local traditions and foods to random skills or spontaneous adventures. I value respect, kindness, and good vibes in shared spaces 😊
