Hi!

We’re a young couple who just graduated from college (Northwestern and Tulane respectively) and we are planning a big move across the country. We are hoping to explore the amazing beauty of Washington before we ultimately settle in Seattle! We love meeting new people, trying new things and we’re always open to learning new skills. We both love nature and animals and are so excited to move to the PNW to have more access to the outdoors.

Corwin worked on a farm as a teenager and Maya grew up gardening. We are both pescatarian and passionate about sustainable agriculture and understanding more about where our food comes from. We consider ourselves big extroverts and love an adventure (especially if it involves a scenic view or a group meal). We are so thrilled to get to know you all and have the privilege of being welcomed into your homes!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both have a good amount of experience with gardening and some understanding (and huge desire to learn!) about cover cropping and other sustainable farming. Corwin has experience working on a small organic farm where he weeded, harvested, and cared for goats. We both grew up with pets (Maya also takes care of feral cats) and love animals. Maya went to a Waldorf school as a kid, where she learned wood working, sewing, knitting, and gardening skills. We have both painted houses and have childcare experience. Both of us have experience working in woodshops, and Corwin has experience with power tools. Maya studied journalism in school so she loves talking to people and writing. Corwin studied design and loves visual arts. Maya also grew up horseback riding and has experience bathing them and cleaning stalls.

We love live music and are getting into hiking! Maya loves to make chocolate chip cookies and Corwin might sing if you really beg him.
