Hello everyone,

My name is Marie, I am 21 years old and I come from Münster in Germany. I'm currently studying Geography and English to become a teacher.
Before I continue with my master's degree, I would like to use the time to get to know new parts of the world. That's why I'm here :)

I would describe myself as a openminded person who always goes through life optimistically and always wants to experience something new. In my spare time I love to play tennis and have now also started playing badminton and padel.
I am a nature and animal lover (especially dogs :)) and I love being outdoors. Whether that's going for a walk, hiking or something else active.

I don't have any experience with Workaway yet, but hopefully that will change soon:) Nevertheless, I already have a bit of experience with volunteering, as I spent 8 months in South Africa after graduating from high school and helped out on a farm and in a school there.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know new places and people and hopefully making some unforgettable memories.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Alongside my studies, I tutor in English and German and also work in a swimming school, teaching both beginners and advanced courses.
On the farm in South Africa I also helped a lot in the ‘garden’ and interacted with the animals on site. So I'm not afraid of physical work :)
But I am also always happy to try out and learn new things
