Hello,

We are Marie and Hieu (26 & 27yo), a French couple settled in South France, working as project manager in corporate social responsability (Marie) and food production field manager (Hieu).

As we have our working and daily life routine set up since 2 years, we came to realise this isn't the life we want. We're feeling both more and more disconnected from nature and outdoor/handy work, taken away from simple and sustainable life. So, starting January 2026, we're going on a world tour, to discover other environment, lifestyles, culture & people, and try different kind of works, without any return date.

We're a dynamic couple, into outdoor activities, cooking, photography, handy work. We both love kids and animals (we're use to babies/kids/teenagers). Hieu used to work in farms, and is a really good cooker. Marie already did volunteering experiences around Asia & Australia (as English teacher for pre-schoolers, social media helper, kids-sitter, house sitter), and has professional experience in cleaning field.

We're definitely motivated to discover countries, culture & people, open to try every work, learn new skills (improve our English level of course) and help as much as we can !

As native French speakers, we will be happy to teach French. We will also be able to teach English for basic level, but we are really interested to improve our level as well. In any case, learning a new language will be enriching and enjoylable for us !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both working in management field, so we are used to organize ourselves to meet goals and deadlines.

Otherwise, Hieu has good cooking and photography skills and is also used to basic handy/gardening work and taking care of babies. Marie has WorkAway experiences as English teacher for pre-schoolers, social media helper, kids/teeangers-sitter, house sitter. Also worked few years as cleaning agent and has experience in housekeeping (Airbnb).
