My name is Maria, and I am a 21-year-old student from Poland. I think you will be happy to hear that I can speak Swedish and would like to use it while spending time with you.
The most valuable human trait for me is kindness. I appreciate an authentic way of being and sharing your true self with others. I live my life as best as I can, connecting my studies with self-development and making each day better than the previous one.
The reason I would like to be a workawayer is that being around the Swedish language in its natural environment would help me a lot in improving my skills. I study Swedish philology at university. Besides that, I would love to become friends with you and make a real true connection. I know you could teach me many things, just as I could teach you and share my knowledge and love. I am interested in Swedish lifestyle and culture. Seeing and living it for some time would hopefully make a huge difference in my knowledge about Sweden and Swedes. I look forward to learning more about it and to receiving this opportunity from you.
Studying is fun for me, but sometimes I need to do something different. I care a lot about a healthy lifestyle. That is why I do and enjoy many sports - dancing, playing tennis, running, and doing yoga. I love hiking, swimming, jumping, riding a bike, rollerblading. Being physically active would definitely not be a problem for me. In everyday life, I focus on school, but I have also been close to art since my early years. I love being creative, creating new things, doing craft activities, and looking at everything from different perspectives. When there is a need, I immediately have 100 ideas in my mind.
I believe I am a confident and responsible person. I can react quickly in stressful situations and think of solutions to solve problems. I am self-driven and really well organised. I keep space around me tidy and clean.
I would like to see slow life as I lived all my life in a city and still do…. I need a rest from rat race, school, cars and high buildings ;). If you need help at your house, I would appreciate if you treat me like a part of a household :)

I would love to learn some of as many languages as i would have an opportunity to! I adore teaching others if i see they want to improve themselves. Definitely I would like to teach someone if i have a chance :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have good motor skills. I can do any art work from painting and drawing to making pottery, sewing. Small DIYs won’t be a problem for me.
I am a very active person so physical activities are okay with me.
I have a certificate in English on C1 level. I have been teaching high school students, but i’m open to teaching younger children since I would like to use my knowledge about different teaching methods. I believe that learning should be fun and interesting . Teaching Polish is not a problem as well obviously. It would be a pleasure but i have to warn you it’s not easy…..
I am a baking expert (you can see my work in photo section) and can cook as well. If you give me a recipe I can make anything. If you’re vegetarian or vegan even better.
I can help around the house, cleaning, laundry, do shopping. I didn’t do much in the garden but I can do it if you show me how.
I can and would like to babysit but i have never taken care of a baby above 3-4. I have good connection with children and I am very creative when it comes to spending time with them. We WON’T be bored and looking at the screens 😃 I can do some courses on childcare if necessary, we can talk about it.
