Description

I'm in a season of adventure and self-development, and I feel the two often go hand-in-hand. Novelty (seeing new places, meeting new people, making new external discoveries) is what grows me most internally as a person, and that motivates me to try new things even more. I quit my job in the United States to travel through Workaway for the next year, and I’m really enjoying all the priceless knowledge I’m gaining about myself and the life that I want to live when I’m DONE traveling…and of course, I’m enjoying all the fun, too!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My most developed skill is restaurant management—I love food and have been passionate about it my entire life. I have a year of experience as a restaurant manager, so hospitality is a big skill of mine. I also have some experience with event planning and social media management. Next to that, I'm a very detail-oriented person and apply a strong work ethic to nearly everything I do. I'm also a fairly experienced gardener as I worked in a greenhouse for nearly 6 years during school. I'm moderately active and love physical movement, especially when outdoors, so I feel very capable of completing the various tasks that might be required of me by a host.

I’ve completed 8 Workaway experiences already (as of 2/9/2025) so I feel very comfortable with the expectations of this program and how this program “works.” I’ve had great experiences at all of my previous volunteer positions, so I think I’m a dependable choice!
