Hi! I’m Luis, from Colombia.

I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports and spending time with new people. I’m curious about other cultures and different ways of living, and I love hearing perspectives that help me see things differently.

I’m an open and friendly person. For me, travelling is as much about the people I meet as the places I visit. I enjoy practising languages, sharing stories and getting to know everyday life wherever I go.

Through Workaway, I’d like to learn practical skills, get involved and contribute to the place where I’m welcomed. I value open communication and talking about tasks beforehand, so we can find something that works well for both of us.

Along the way, I also spend time on courses, learning and personal projects. I enjoy being around people while respecting their routines and personal space.

I have a diverse skill set that allows me to adapt to different tasks and environments. Professionally, I work in technology and cybersecurity. Since I work remotely, I’m highly independent, organized, and good at problem-solving.

Beyond my professional expertise, I’m a hands-on person who enjoys physical work. I love staying active through hiking, swimming, running, and cycling, and I’m always eager to take on outdoor tasks. I have great stamina and don’t mind getting my hands dirty with farm work, gardening, or general maintenance.

I also know how to cook and enjoy preparing different types of meals, whether it’s something simple and nutritious or trying out new recipes. I’d be happy to help in the kitchen and learn more about local cuisine.

Growing up, I spent part of my childhood on farms, which gave me a strong connection to nature and experience with basic farm work, animal care, and manual labor. I’m a quick learner, proactive, and adaptable, always willing to help in any way I can. Whether it’s assisting with physical tasks, taking care of animals, working in the garden, cooking, or even sharing my knowledge in technology, I’m happy to contribute and gain new experiences.
