Hi! I'm Lucy from the UK :)

I'm currently living and working on Lord Howe Island and am looking to spend a couple of months away, learning more about different ways of life here in Aus. I'm a zoologist with a passion for wildlife and animals. I plan to visit Queensland over the months of August and September. It will be my first time in this state and I'm excited to learn more about the incredible nature there. It'd be great to meet some like-minded people, share experiences and help towards an interesting project.

I'm an experienced traveller, having spent months working at animal rescues throughout Asia as well as living in Borneo, Spain and the Peruvian Amazon. I love meeting new people, learning new cultures and visiting places off the beaten track. I've also worked at a wildlife refuge in Tasmania, caring for wombats, wallabies, pademelons, birds and much more. On Lord Howe, I've assisted with plenty of seabird rescues and rehabilitation.

My favourite things to do include hiking, bird watching, swimming in natural pools or the ocean, camping, listening to live music and cooking with friends.

I can offer the following skills: gardening, animal care, computer work, cooking (although this may need improvement!), maintenance
