My name is Layla and I am 18 years old. In July 2025, I finished high school and I've decided to take a gap year. I would love to improve my languages and exchange cultures by going to a foreign country for a few months.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since 2022, I have been babysitting for a few different families. In the summer of 2024, I was an au pair for three French kids for a few weeks. I also have a job at a focacceria in Amsterdam (where I can practice all of my languages, because a lot of Italians and other tourists come there).
I'm half Dutch and half German, so both of these languages are my mother tongue, then I started learning English when I was around 11, and now I speak it fluently. Then in high school I learned Italian and French. I passed the CILS exam in B2 and passed C1 partly. I passed both DELF B1 and B2.

Since I was seven, I've played the violin and I really enjoy it as a hobby. I also like to read, draw, paint, or do anything creative. For a few years, I have done Krav Maga, and before that Judo, two self defense sports. I really love cats (and animals in general), I also have a very cute cat myself; Joy. Cooking and baking are also things I like to do.
