Description

I am a passionate, outgoing, and open-minded person who believes in helping others and making a meaningful difference in their lives. I grew up on my family’s farm in Egypt, graduated from Cairo University, and taught in Alexandria before immigrating to the United States. My experiences across different cultures, along with traveling throughout Europe, Asia, the United States, and Canada, have broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for diversity.

I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) and Arabic to children and adults in Egypt and the United States. I hold a master’s degree from a university in Indiana in Teaching English as a Second Language and teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. My teaching experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. I aspire to earn a Ph.D. and become a university professor, inspiring others through education and lifelong learning.

My journey from Egypt to the United States has taught me resilience, patience, adaptability, and the importance of approaching others without judgment or assumptions. I believe kindness, acceptance, and respect can bridge cultural differences and promote peace. I value preserving my Egyptian identity while embracing new cultural experiences, recognizing that sharing our traditions and perspectives enriches individuals and communities alike.

Service to others is an essential part of who I am. I have volunteered in multiple countries, helping with gardening, farming, animal care, house-sitting, babysitting, cleaning, cooking, elderly care, and language teaching. These experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives. My greatest joy comes from helping others feel valued and making them smile.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, photography, music, hiking, biking, and meeting new people. I especially love animals, particularly dogs. As a lifelong learner, I strive to treat everyone with dignity and compassion, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background.
