Description
Hi, we are Liam (19) and Tilda (19), a couple from Germany. Last year we finished school and are now both taking a gap year. Before starting university, we want to spend about five months traveling, gaining new experiences, and learning through cultural exchange.
Tilda:
Right after finishing high school, I went interrailing through Europe with a friend. During this trip, I discovered my love for traveling, meeting new people, and getting to know different cultures. Being on the road showed me how much I can learn by stepping outside my comfort zone, and it inspired me to continue exploring the world in a more meaningful and hands-on way.
Liam:
Growing up, my family and I didn’t travel very much. A few years ago, I visited the Azores through a youth organization, which sparked my interest in traveling. Experiencing the nature, wildlife, and everyday life there made me curious to see more of the world and to learn about different cultures, as well as the natural environments in other countries.

Tilda: I am generally interested in learning whatever language can be taught as I really enjoy studying languages and broadening my horizon. I can also teach both English and German, as I have been tutoring in these subjects for the past two years.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Tilda:
I enjoy a mix of practical and creative work. I have experience with gardening, cooking, and baking and like helping out in the kitchen as well as outdoors. I’m also comfortable babysitting and working with children, and I enjoy caring for animals, both big and small. Additionally, I like doing DIY projects and helping with general tasks and maintenance around the house.
Liam:
I enjoy practical, hands-on work and am comfortable with a wide range of tasks. I have experience working with computers and technology, as well as doing DIY projects and general maintenance around the house. I also enjoy woodworking and gardening and am happy to help with building, repairs, or outdoor work. In addition, I’m comfortable taking care of animals of all sizes and enjoy spending time with them.
