  Description

  Hi, I am Franco a passionate advocate for mountain living and sustainability. I have done over 30 volunteer experiences around the world, and one day, I felt the need to create my own place in the world and share it with others. That’s how I built these mountain cabins.
  
  The cabins are located in a privileged natural setting, on the banks of the Río Amarillo, surrounded by forests and breathtaking views. We are looking for volunteers who want to immerse themselves in an authentic lifestyle experience, contribute to maintaining our space, and share moments of cultural exchange and connection with nature.
  
  I am only here some afternoons, depending on the season. This is not a crowded place but rather a more solitary and disconnected experience.
  
  Since we are in the mountains, we seek volunteers who truly want to embrace this way of life. There are no supermarkets or stores nearby, so I do the grocery shopping in the morning and bring it in the afternoon. Each volunteer must pay for their own food according to what they choose. We have a bicycle available for trips to the city.
  
  It is important to clarify that this is not a place with many people or volunteers. The main contact will be with me, the tourists staying here, and my friends if any mountain outings take place.
  
  If you are looking for a spiritual retreat, a deep dive into reading, or meditation surrounded by nature, this is the place for you. But if you want to meet many people, share dinners, and have long conversations, this may not be the right place—perhaps a hostel or a family environment would suit you better.
  
  The mountains, the cacti, the birds, and the Río Amarillo await you in this deep connection with yourself, far from all contamination.
  
  Hola soy Franco, un apasionado por la vida en la montaña y la sostenibilidad. He hecho mas de 30 voluntaridos en todo el mundo, y un dia tuve la necesidad de crear mi lugar en el mundo y poderlo compartir con otras personas, de ahi que arme unas cabañas en la montaña. Las cabañas se encuentran en un entorno natural privilegiado, a orillas del Río Amarilo, rodeadas de bosques y vistas espectaculares. Buscamos voluntarios que deseen sumergirse en una experiencia de vida auténtica, contribuir al mantenimiento de nuestro espacio y compartir momentos de intercambio cultural y conexión con la naturaleza.
  Yo estoy solamente algunos dias a la tarde dependiendo de la temporada, no es un lugar con mucha gente sino algo mas solitario y de desconexión.
  
  Al ser un lugar en la montaña buscamos voluntarios que realmente quieran vivir esa experiencia, no hay supermercado cerca ni tiendas, por lo que la compra de comida y víveres la hago a la mañana y a la tarde la llevo, y debe ser pagada por cada voluntario de acuerdo a lo que cada uno quiera. Contamos con una bicicleta para ir a la ciudad. Importante aclarar que no es un lugar de mucha gente o voluntarios, el contacto que tendrán sera conmigo, y los turistas que estan hospedados y mis amigos si es que surge alguna salida a la montaña.
  El que quiera hacer un retiro espiritual, o bien adentrarse en una lectura profunda o tal vez meditar rodrados de naturaleza, deberia venir aca. Si quieren tener contactos con muchas personas y compartir cenas y charlas no deberia venir, mas bien un hostel o una familia seria su lugar.
  
  La montañas, los cactus, los pájaros y el rio amarillo te esperan en esta conexión profunda con tu ser alejado de toda contaminación

  Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

  Workawayers who visit us will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Argentine culture, especially in the rural and tourist life of the Chilecito region of La Rioja. Travelers will receive tours once a week to different places to learn about the history, customs, and way of life of this region. We will go hiking in the mountains with tourists and groups of friends. It will be an ideal exchange to practice Spanish, as we will be in constant contact and sharing activities.
  
  Los Workawayers que nos visiten tendrán la oportunidad de sumergirse en la cultura argentina, especialmente en la vida rural y turística de la región de Chilecito, La Rioja.
  Lo viajeros recibirá tours donde los llevare una vez a la semana a diferentes lugares para aprender sobre la historia, las costumbres y la forma de vida de esta region. Saldremos con los turistas y grupo de amigos a hacer caminatas por las montañas
  Será un intercambio ideal para practicar español, ya que estaremos en contacto constante y compartiendo actividades.

  Aide

  Mainly, it's maintenance tasks for the space, such as helping with tree pruning, space construction, and permaculture tasks such as gardening. On the other hand, we help with guests, which includes reception and cabin cleaning. We value each Workaway's knowledge, so if someone knows photography, we'll ask them for that. For example, if someone knows yoga, we'll ask them to teach classes to guests, etc.
  
  Principalmente es trabajos de mantenimiento del espacio como, ayuda en la poda de arboles, contruccion de espacios y permacultura como cuidado de la huerta .
  Por otro lado ayuda con los huespedes, lo que implica: recepcion y limpieza de cabaña .
  Valoramos los conocimientos de cada workaway, por lo que sl alguno sabe de fotografia le pediremos eso o bien por ejemplo si alguno sabe de yoga, que de clases a los huespedes etc

  Ofrecemos buscarlos y llevarlos sienpre y cuando este disponible. Sino hay taxi que llega a las cabañas
