Hello, my name is Levi! I am currently solo travelling in New Zealand and hail from a small farming community in rural Alberta, Canada. I lived in Golden Bay for 2 months doing permaculture courses and am looking for places to apply what I learned. Growing up close to nature certainly impacted me from a young age and it has resulted in my desire for a self sufficient property of my own.... one day! I left my hometown 4 years ago and other than going back for the occasional holiday have been on the road since. For me travelling is exciting and is a great way to escape old ways of thinking. In this way it has been very helpful to my development as a person and I like to think every human I meet has an impact on who I become. I treat others with the same high degree of respect and kindness that I would love to receive myself. I also bring a strong work ethic and genuine desire to make a positive impact on every property I visit.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up landscaping, working in my mom's garden and have recently completed my permaculture design course as well as an earth building and organic growing course. These certainly help me with understanding the interconnectedness between all aspects of nature and give me skills with building soil and attending to plants that others may not have.

I am a hands on person whose experience on a farm has given me skills with various tools and heavy equipment. If you've got anything that needs building then I've at least got the basics down.

While I would certainly prefer eating to cooking I have developed kitchen skills that may be helpful to feeding myself and your family.

I attained a university degree in environmental science which makes me proficient with various computer programs, professional writing and advanced language proficiency.

My time on the road has imbued me with strong interpersonal skills that make it easy to make connections with others.
