Description
Hello! My name is Minami(26), from south island of Japan.
Surfing and the ocean have been a part of my entire life. I've always lived close to the beach. When there are waves, I am dancing on the wave(I'm a longboarder) with my father at my home beach. On the day off, we go on a little journey to faraway beaches. I love floating in the water, surrounded by quietness, listening to the sounds of cosmic. It makes me feel crystal clear, fulfilled, freedom and alive. Being in the water is the tenderest way to connect the world with me. I am such a water person. In contrast to myself being in the water, on the ground I adore being in calm and cozy. I am forever roaming in the imagination freely, letting my senses take me where I want to be. I love books, listening to music, and having dreamy, imaginative chatting and dancing with little people. That's why I'm currently working at a very family-like forest kindergarten. I also love smelling and finding the colors of flowers and green.
Expect to brush up my English, so I will be happy to get along with you through chatting and various experiences through workaway opportunity. Also, it always gives me a joy to touch new languages!
Through workaway, I am happy to encounter the sounds and colors of the world and purely share a tender moment.
There's simply no better feeling than being able to surf cozy in your comfortable home place .

Farming
The cycle of vegetables and flowers that I grow and harvest becoming what I eat makes me feel blessed. I have been interested in farming for the past years and am constantly learning by helping farmers. Last year I began cultivating a tiny but very rich field of soil. Step by step, with a lot of help of friends, I growing a few seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers by organic farming. My long term dream is to farm a field that is very open to the public and to be a place where children can spend their time to be free and to feel safe and cozy. Happily, now children from the neighborhood have been visiting our little farm sometimes, and I'm getting closer to my dream!
So I have a little experience engaged in farming and learning on the field always will expand my knowledges, and I don't mind repetitive tasks, they actually make me calm down.
I've spent most of my life in the water where I can be true to myself., so I would be happy we surf together or just spending peaceful time at the beach.
Also I would love to share with you my first language, Japanese.
