  Description

  Hello!
  
  (July–August) We are looking for one or two responsible, independent people to help care for our home while we are away at various times during July and August.
  
  We live at a small homestead in the hills south of Florence, surrounded by forests, vineyards, and olive trees. The role is primarily house and animal sitting rather than a work exchange focused on projects.
  
  Responsibilities include:
  
  * Feeding and caring for, walking our 3 dogs
  * Looking after our cat
  * Basic care for our chickens and their coop
  * Watering the garden and plants 2/3x daily
  * Keeping an eye on the house and property
  
  We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy animals, are comfortable living in the countryside, and can take initiative without needing much supervision.
  
  
  In exchange, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time in a beautiful part of Tuscany, enjoy a peaceful rural setting, and experience life on a small homestead.
  
  Please tell us a bit about yourself, your experience with animals, and your availability during July and August. We also need you to have a driver's license and preferably a car, but this is not a requirement.
  
  We look forward to hearing from you!
  
  Separately, we are always looking for someone to build us a pool or bio pond, so if this is something you have experience in please reach out. It's not our main goal at this time, but we would love to hear from you, if this is a skill you have.
