Hi there, my Name is Laura – Nice to meet you ☺️
I have been traveling three years ago (have done a thew workaways already) and since then I am stuck at home in Switzerland. Now I can feel that it is time again to explore the beautiful world. For me traveling is not only to explore new places on the earth but also explore about oneself. To get that authentic, real and raw experience I like to connect with other people. For me it's not only what I can take from it but also what I can give. And where's a better place for it than workaway ;)
What kind of person am I?
I am definitely very diverse, have lots of different interests. I am very into dancing💃🏻, creativity🧶🎨, being in nature🌿, cooking healthy food with my freestyle recipes 🫑🌶️and having meaningful conversations💭. I like to keep pushing myself out of my comfort zone and keep growing.🌻
People who describe me often use words like: kind, easy-going, open, makes other people feel comfortable.🧡
🔎 Currently I am looking specifically for a workaway in Sicily because both my parents are from Italy and my mother is from Sicily and sadly I have never been there. My heart tells me that it is finally time to visit. This would be a travel with a lot of emotion in it and I would love to connect with locals and really get to know my roots.

German (Swissgerman) is my native language. I can try to teach you - would be fun for sure. I spoke Italian as a child but since both my parents are italian, I think its a pitty I am not really able to speak. I would love to learn.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- I taught myself basics of graphic design so I am able to design some simple graphics/flyers...
- I do not have never done a babysitting course but since I got a baby brother when I was 11 years old and grew up with him, I think that also counts. Plus I have been watching a 8 year old kid sometimes when I was workawaying
- I rarely take pictures in my spare time but I love to do it and I had to take some for a youth group now and then on events and camps. Also self taught and a beginner
- Good at working in a team and in general good soft skills
- I've got many compliments about my cooking so I guess I can cook haha
(If you're wondering what I've learned: I've completed an apprenticeship in the office - administration stuff. So I do have experience with clients and typical office things.)
Most important: I'm always ready to learn new skills of all kinds and I'm a fast learner.
