Hi! Currently looking for house-sitting/remote work friendly places! I'll be working 8-5, 5 days a week (including weekends), but happy to help in the evening or on my days off!

Hi there! This is my first time on Workaday, though I've volunteered via Worldpackers, Erasmus, HelpX before :)

👩‍🦱 I'm Laura, originally from Italy, currently looking for a new learning and fun opportunity close to outdoors spaces while I try to maintain my mental sanity securing my next job position in this job market 🤯

📆 Open from April to late August/September (for now, I'm applying to the civil service & internships, and I still don't have information whether they will be successful or not!) - with a huge request in the middle: my bf is getting married on 4th July so will be to travel back to North Italy in those days + days around 26 April ⭐️

📚 My educational background is in International/European and Gender Studies. I love walking, and hiking, and mountains - that's where you'll find me when I'm not busy debating social issues, overthinking or writing!

🌎 I've visited over 30 countries, lived across Italy, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and looking for new ways to connect and explore! I speak Italian & English (C2), in addition to basic conversations in Spanish, German, French.

📄 What I bring to the table - all rounder, I can help with project management, coordination, admin work, bar & cafe, housekeeping, bits and pieces of gardening, can cook you a fab risotto or veggie lasagne. I'm pretty flexible though physically not sure I can handle too much heavy work. Let me know if you need my CV and I'm happy to send it! ;)

🍝 I eat mostly gluten free - just fyi. Love vegetarian & vegan cuisine, but adapt to anything!

I'm mostly open to paid position and volunteering - needing the refill the travel budget.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My educational background ranges from International Relations, to European Studies, to Gender Studies - I'd developed a lots of analytical and critical skills.

I've started my career into the world of project management - I can help you managing your projects (Admin), support with SharePoint if needed.

Most practically, I'm also an experienced customer service & hospitality worker - and overall hands-on.
I can support with housekeeping, managing guests/check-ins, bartending, little bit of gardening.

I'd love to help anything practical in terms of maintenance or building!

I walked the Camino de Santiago - French Way this year, so would love to get to know more routes!
I'd also love to camping/learn how to backpack with a tent on longer journeys, so open to tips!
