Description
Hello, I’m Laura, 27 years old and from the north of Germany.
Over the last few years, I’ve lived in France, Belgium and Canada, where I worked with children and people with disabilities. In between, I’ve done various Workaway placements on farms and in a museum.
I love travelling, being outdoors and meeting new people. In recent years, I’ve always had a small garden and would now like to learn more about growing fruit and vegetables.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition. As part of my Master’s programme, I am spending a semester abroad in Cluj, Romania, with my friend Pia.
Pia is about to turn 26 and is currently studying social work in Germany; together we’re looking for a Workaway placement for two weeks this summer

Over the past three years, I have worked with a lot of people and I have learned a lot from them. I would describe myself as open and patient. I’m also good at organizing and planning.
I spent my childhood in the countryside, where I grew up with animals and nature especially horses.
I am creative and I like to craft, paint, cook and bake.
I like to be active and the stressful days at work are my favorite.
