Hello! My name is Laeticia, I'm 21 and I'm French.
I grew up in the countryside in the north of France. Since the age of ten, I've lived with a golden retriever and I love going for long walks in the forest and by the sea with her, and sometimes with my friends' dogs and my friends too.

I'm currently studying aeronautical engineering near Paris.
I've got a year to go before I graduate, so I've decided to take a gap year before that, to do some woofing.
I would like to go woofing in an English-speaking country because I want to improve my English. I'm currently at B1 level but only speak it on rare occasions.
I've already updated my passport and I'm ready to leave in June 2025.

As for cooking, I can make really good crêpes and I'm trying to learn how to make good bread, even if it's a bit more complicated!
I like watching TV series and reading. At the moment, I'm immersed in the Hunger Games saga written by Suzanne Collins, thanks to the latest tome she recently published.
I enjoy discovering new landscapes and keeping busy.
I've always played a lot of sport and I'm ready to put in the physical effort needed for the tasks I'm given. I love learning new things and I'm pretty resourceful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm very hands-on. I'm a quick learner and I'm always on the lookout to do better and improve my skills.

Animals:
I have a little bit of experience with horses, I rode horses when I was little. I have a dog, I've had rabbits and I've fed chickens. I love animals in general, having good time with them and taking care of them.

Computer skills:
Having studied engineering, I have a good knowledge of computers and software. Thanks to a school society I was part of, I also know how to use social networks and do digital communication.

Work experience:
During an internship, I was tasked with spray-painting vehicle parts and, before that, preparing them by sanding, degreasing and masking any surfaces not to be painted.
During a summer job, I also built a fence, weeded, trimmed hedges and repainted outdoor concrete decorations.
So I'm pretty skilled with a paintbrush.

Association:
I've belonged to several associations:
- One focused on the environment, where we all got together to go out and collect garbage in small groups every month for a day or a morning.
- Another was to help the village where I live, for example we managed to install a bus shelter at the bus stop so we wouldn't get soaked when it rained.
We also built a reconstruction of a train ourselves, using wood and objects salvaged from flea markets.

I like to play board games, and sometimes video games.
I've already visited several countries and discovered cultures other than my own, only European countries such as Romania, Hungary, Austria, Spain, Portugal and the UK. I've also been to Guadeloupe in the West Indies. But I don't know the American continent at all.
I study and love everything about airports, seaplanes, helicopters and airshows.
On the sporting front, I've been involved in athletics for over ten years.
I've been playing volleyball for four years in the women's six-on-six. I've also taken part in beach volleyball competitions.
I often go mountain biking with a friend, and we like to tinker with our bikes, which are breaking down more and more.
I also love hiking in the mountains, in the peace and quiet of nature.
