Hi 🌞
I'm Claudia. I love the outdoors, being active, doing hands-on work and meeting new people. I am always up for a game, a hike, a swim, stargazing, good food, a good talk, reading in the sun or anything along these lines :)
I recently quit my office job and I am looking for places where I can reconnect with people and nature and find out what I'd actually want to do. Along the way I am also exploring different regions in Europe to find a place where I'd like to settle down long term.
Through workaway I have participated in several maintenance projects, learned abour farmwork, taking care of animals, gardening, worked in tourism in hostels/small hotels and on campsites, and been part of summer camp teams working with kids.
I find workawaying very inspiring, seeing all these different ways of life, connecting with so many beautiful people, and learning so so much.

Farmwork/Maintenance 👩🌾
I am familiar with farmwork and some maintenance work from previous workaway experiences such as gardening, grafting, picking fruits, milking goats, feeding animals, plastering, sanding, painting walls/furniture, cutting firewood and other random things around the house.
Guide 🗺️
I love working with people, used to be a guide for erasmus students, guiding daytrips and pub crawls. I worked as a bubble football animator, organizing and running team buildings, bachelor and birthday parties. I also worked as a monitor in summer camps. I find it easy and natural to make people feel included and make sure they are having fun in these organized activities.
Childcare 👶
I enjoy playing with and looking after kids, I used to work as a babysitter and there was always younger kids around me in my family. I also worked as a monitor in summer camps.
Hospitality 🏨
I have worked in hospitality as a waitress in a big hotel, as bar staff at a campsite and as a receptionist, housekeeper, kitchen helper in hostels/small hotels. I love jobs where there's always something to do, people to meet and a great team to make it fun.
I am an easy-going, responsible person. I enjoy hands-on work where I can meet and connect with new people, and where it matters how I do my job.
