Hello!

My name is Katie and I am visiting New Zealand from the UK. I am currently based in beautiful Northland, though I’m eager to explore new places and meet new people across the country!

I wish to learn more about the country's rich and diverse cultural history and ways of living, as well as New Zealand's beautiful flora and fauna. I thrive when I’m outside in nature, helping others, learning (be that new skills or about particular places and cultures), getting creative, cooking, reading and more...

My friends describe me as enthusiastic, adaptable and kind, with a willingness to help others; I give anything I try my best effort!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am always eager to learn new skills, but particularly enjoy writing, editing, cooking and creating art, particularly prints, jewellery and pottery. Before coming to New Zealand, I was working at a pottery cafe which was so much fun!

When it comes to things I may not have tried before, I am a fast and enthusiastic learner and will always muck in and give something a good go!

I love to be outdoors, be that walking, kayaking, or simply taking in the natural world. I am particularly looking forward to meeting new people and learning about history, people and cultures that may differ from my own.
