Hello! My name is Sérgio Roberto Gürtler Junior, a Brazilian, and the eldest of five siblings. I am excited to join you and embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and volunteering. I am passionate about exploring new horizons, meeting amazing people, and making a difference in the world. I believe that we all have something valuable to share, whether it’s practical skills, academic knowledge, or simply offering a listening ear and a generous heart.

I am here to learn from you, share my skills in gardening, painting, cooking, photo editing, social media, and contribute to other projects. Happiness for me comes from building meaningful connections with people from different cultural backgrounds and enriching my understanding of the world. I am always open to exploring the local culture and participating in creative activities. Additionally, I deeply value nature and am committed to environmental preservation, so I would love to collaborate on ecological projects.

I'm interested in developing my English skills and would love to have the opportunity to immerse myself in an English-speaking environment. While I have some knowledge of the language, I struggle with speaking fluently and confidently. By joining your community, I hope to overcome this challenge and enhance my communication abilities. In return, I would be more than happy to teach Portuguese to those who are interested. As a native speaker, I can provide language lessons, conversation practice, and insights into Brazilian culture. It would be a pleasure for me to share my knowledge and help others improve their Portuguese skills. Hello, hosts! I believe it is important to share information about my knowledge, experience, and skills. I am enthusiastic about making a significant contribution during my stay and would like to highlight some areas where I can be helpful.

I have extensive knowledge in gardening and plant cultivation, acquired throughout my life. I have always lived in countryside areas, where my family and I have cultivated beautiful gardens and vegetable patches. I also have knowledge in house painting, learned from my father who is a painter.

From a young age, I learned how to cook, and I would be delighted to share my knowledge and showcase the cuisine of my country.

I bring valuable experience in social media and photo editing. I have worked in a digital marketing company, where I learned to have a critical eye when it comes to the image we portray on social media.

These experiences have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

I am an organized, reliable person with a great ability to adapt to different environments. I have a proactive and creative approach to facing challenges, and I am always eager to learn new things. In addition to my technical skills, I also possess effective communication and teamwork abilities.

I am a photography enthusiast and enjoy capturing special moments and stunning landscapes. I also appreciate outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and cycling. Nature inspires me, and I take every opportunity to explore new places. I am open to sharing these interests and hobbies with the Workaway community. If anyone is interested in playing board games, exploring nature together, or even exchanging book and music recommendations, I am more than excited to join in.
